Service Improvement Practitioner to work within Cancer Services. This role is at the heart of transformation and improvement within Cancer Services. You will provide an active role in delivering the projects set by Cancer Alliance, which will align with BTHFT values.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job include:
Working collaboratively with the MDTs to improve experience, efficiency and outcomes for all involved with the process
Lead change within own level of competency and introduce new ways of working, alongside the Lead Cancer Manager and Lead Cancer Nurse
Work alongside colleagues both internal and external of BTHFT to support wider change and improvement within Cancer Services through collaboration and shared learning
Motivate and manage own workload, present and share information at both internal and external forums.

- Experience of working within Cancer Services
- Experience of working in a patient focussed environment
- Use of NHS IT system in a working environment
- Experience of implementing or facilitating change in an organisation
- Working with people at all levels to support and enable change
- Experience of managing conflicting and competing priorities
- Able to influence and negotiate with staff, colleagues, and stakeholders

- Experience of organising meetings and taking minutes / actions

- Be able to interpret and follow instructions
- Ability to support the development and delivery of change programmes and projects
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident using key IT packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
