Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust’s Eating Disorders Service has been commissioned to provide physical health monitoring to our high risk patients in this service.
This is an exciting new initiative, supported by the Team as a whole including Consultant Psychiatrist and GPs.
The Band 7 will be responsible for ensuring that the clinics take place, supervise the Band 4 Health Care Support Workers who will be undertaking the health monitoring and cover the clinics when necessary.
All physical health monitoring training will be provided and is not a pre-requisite requirement. Some mental health eating disorder experience would be an asset.
Other roles will include case management of high risk patients, liaison with Multi- Disciplinary Teams, an educational role and carrying out assessments.
Some mental health experience of eating disorders would be a bonus but not a necessity. Consideration would be given to single registration with experience.
