The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse to join our friendly and expanding team on AMU Short Stay. AMU Short Stay is within the Emergency Quadrant and is an area of continuous development. We are a 14-bedded acute short stay unit and 13-bedded frailty unit, specialising in acute medicine.

AMU Short Stay is looking for highly motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and wish to contribute to our vision of providing compassionate nursing care. We are seeking to recruit staff nurses who can make a difference with their dedication and expertise whilst upholding the trusts values and behaviours. We are a friendly department with a positive ethos and strong nursing leadership.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for these posts Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
