We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Dietitian to join our Dietetic Team as an Advanced Specialist Dietitianin Mental Health to provide dietetic care to patients with a range of mental health problems.Youll join our relatively small team consisting ofDietitians, Nutrition Nurses and Administration staff.
Main duties of the job
Working across the Mental Health Services allows for plenty of variety over a typical week. Every week consists of two scheduled clinics, with additional spaces allocated throughout the week for individuals requiring more regular dietetic input in the community. You will work alongside a dietitian covering the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)and providedietetic support to those in the acute inpatient facility, including both adults and older persons. You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team with other mental health professionals, including joint formulation of patient-centred care plans and review meetings. A typical week may also include receiving and providing clinical supervision to colleagues, and nutrition education and training for other health care professionals.This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for improving the lives of people with mental health conditions.
