Service Manager - NHS Talking Therapies, Central & West Lancashire
We are a large NHS Talking Therapies service comprising 11 teams and more than 350 clinicians, complemented by a team of talented operational leaders and Administration staff. As a service, our aim is to work with more than 30,000 individuals each year across Lancashire and South Cumbria who are experiencing anxiety or depression, and we pride ourselves on our high rates of recovery.
As one of 3 locality areas (alongside Pennine Lancashire and North Lancashire), we are now seeking the recruitment of a Service Manager on a permanent basis within our Central and West Lancashire Network.
The portfolio will cover 3 NHS Talking Therapies Teams (Preston, Chorley & South Ribble and West Lancashire) as part of a new single leadership model for the Trust's Talking Therapies service which has been operational since April 2024.
Central and West is a supportive, experienced and vibrant network, which promotes the Trust values in all that we do and is committed to excellent service user care and compassionate leadership.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Network on a permanent basis to provide operational leadership within the Talking Therapies service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader with operational experience, who is looking to further develop and gain additional leadership experience within the organisation.
You will be working closely with the wider Talking Therapies leadership team, both operational and clinical, to deliver high quality mental health services across the Lancashire and South Cumbria population.
Provisional date for interview - Wednesday 11th September 2024
