Lead Digital Midwife - Band 7

We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced NMC Registered Midwife to join our friendly and passionate maternity team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in the specialist role of Lead Digital Midwife as our maternity services continue to develop.
We are looking for a confident and motivated midwife to join us in this senior role this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established maternity unit with a great reputation in our community and a strong leadership team focussed on supporting staff to fulfil their potential and provide outstanding, personalised maternity services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead on the delivery of the Digital Maternity Transformation programme clinically and work with the Clinical Informatics Team and Finance to assess the benefits of digital initiatives and local technology programmes in order to implement a digital change within the Maternity Department.
The Lead Digital Midwife will have a key leadership and management role at a senior level and will provide specialist knowledge to support the organisation in reviewing local maternity service digital requirements and developing a full digital maternity system.
They will be responsible for the management and development of the system, redesigning, configuring, and enhancing the information system as required. This must link to other systems within the organisation and the post holder will supports integration with other health solutions.
