An opportunity has arisen to join the multidisciplinary Bassetlaw Long Term Neurological Conditions Team offering neurorehabilitation to individuals with neurological conditions. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Principal Clinical Psychologist for Neurorehabilitation. Opportunities to pursue further training in Neuropsychology may be available following discussion.
Main duties of the job
The role involves providing specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention in patient's homes as well as consultation and training to the multidisciplinary team regarding the psychological difficulties arising as a consequence of a neurological condition. The postholder will supervise Assistant Psychologist, Band 7 Clinical Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists as appropriate.

- BPS accredited Doctoral Level Training qualification in Clinical Psychology
- Eligible for Chartered status of the British Psychological Society
- Health & Care Professions Council Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist: Clinical Psychologist
Desirable
- Completion of a Clinical Psychology supervision qualification as recognised by the D.Clin Psy training courses
- Member of The Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists
- Completion of or enrolment on Postdoctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at either Diploma or MSc level or QiCN as recognized by the BPS Division of Neuropsychology
Experience
Essential
- Substantive experience in clinical neuropsychology or neurorehabilitation, gained either pre or post qualification or during clinical training including experience of working in community neurorehabilitation teams
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
- Experience with a variety of neuropsychological assessments and interventions
