Secondment opportunity
Nottingham University Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery is looking to appoint substantively to the Neurosurgical case manager role following a successful Pilot project to streamline the neurosurgical inpatient pathway and improve patient experience. We are looking for an extremely well motivated and innovative person to take up this posts. The post holder will have a background in neurosurgery and will work with the clinical teams to deliver a seamless inpatient journey for the patient. This is a visionary post for a motivated person to develop their existing organisational skills and implement innovative solutions.
Main duties of the job
Nottingham University Hospitals is a tertiary provider of Neurosurgical care to the population of a large area of the East Midlands. Neurosurgical patients require highly skilled and co-ordinated care from the day of referral through acute care and expert rehabilitation.
Working with a vision of delivering excellence in all we do the post holder will focus on quality and access in the co-ordination of the Neurosurgical patient pathway, including both Nottingham patients and those from other areas who may need to be transferred to their local hospital once they no longer require acute neurosurgical care.
