A fantastic opportunity has arisen to recruit a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated Deputy Ward Manager to join our Low Secure CAMHS team at Ardenleigh.
You will be providing high quality, compassionate and recovery-focused care to our young people, whilst also demonstrating effective, safe leadership skills. The ward is fast paced and will require you to have a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as being a positive role model for staff in a manner that positively reflects the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation. You will be a vital part of the ward management team, working alongside a full compliment of MDT colleagues.
You must have a passion to support young people who may have experienced trauma and who present with a broad range of mental health conditions, as well as Autistic Spectrum Disorders. In addition, it is vital that you are able to understand the developmental and holistic needs of our young people.
Main duties of the job

o RMN/RNLD Qualified willing to work in a busy challenging role.
o Excellent understanding of Safeguarding
o Understanding of Multidisciplinary Services
o NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered)
o Excellent understanding of the Mental Health Act
o Patient centred approach with a commitment to deliver high quality care
o Excellent organisational skills
o Effective communication skills
o Flexibility in approach to work and a strong can do attitude
You will receive:-
o Comprehensive Induction and commitment to on-going training, care and support.
o Bespoke training in issues relevant to working within the realms of CAMHS, such as: Child Development, Therapeutic Engagement, Working with families, DBT skill awareness, ASD training and Trauma Informed Care training.
o Development of leaderships skills
