Adult Cardiorespiratory Enhanced and Responsive Service (ACERS) Associate Respiratory Physiotherapist Band 6
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist interested in long term respiratory care to join the award winning ACERS Service based within Hackney.
If you have an interest in Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation, managing people at home with acute exacerbations of their respiratory diseases and supporting them with respiratory symptoms long term, or would like to further develop one, if you are keen to increase the understanding of long term respiratory conditions in patients and professionals alike, and if you are ready to make the most of CPPD and service development opportunities this could be your big chance!
The role will involved working across a 7 day service, providing respiratory clinical experience across both acute and community settings. You may also be required to provide supervision to other members of the team.
Main duties of the job
This role offers an opportunity to work with ACERS Respiratory Service as part of both the Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation service, ACERS Respiratory Physiotherapy Service and the Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward Team. This post offers an opportunity to gain new skills and experience in an exciting and changing area, to develop quality improvement and service development skills that will set you up for life, and to work with a brilliant fun and friendly team.
Ideally you will have had experience at band 6 level and experience of working with patients with chronic respiratory disease and in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and feel able to work in a team as well as on your own initiative.
In return for your experience, motivation and enthusiasm, we can offer support with CPPD and could offer flexible working.
You will be supported by the whole of the Respiratory Team, including our Respiratory Lead and Cardiorespiratory Nurse Consultant. We are looking for a physiotherapist who has a genuine interest in working in this environment works well in a team and can see the development opportunities that this post has to offer.
