Within the Imaging team, we are responsible for delivering high level diagnostic care for all of the patients at Newham Hospital. Our admin team consists of 16 administrative staff whom are involved in booking and facilitating patient queries. We currently have 7 X-Ray rooms, 17 Ultrasound rooms, 2 CT rooms, 2 MRI rooms and a Fluoroscopy screening room.
Main duties of the job
The Service Delivery Manager, with the support of the Administrative Managers, will be responsible for the overall line management of the administrative team.
You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the Imaging department against local and national access targets. Where needed, you will be responsible for implementing service improvement initiatives to improve the delivery of high quality care.

- Degree level or equivalent qualification, or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued professional development

- At least 2 years relevant operational management experience
- Significant NHS experience with strong understanding of Imaging
- Staff Management experience
- Experience in successfully managing a budget

- In depth knowledge of Imaging Access targets and management of patient pathways
