Are you interested in complexity, longer-term therapeutic work, and close multi-disciplinary team working?
The Forensic Psychology department is seeking to recruit a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist to join both our Pre-Discharge unit based in Oxford and the Forensic Community Mental Health Team (FCMHT). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a high quality psychological service, engaging with a challenging but rewarding population. They will be encouraged to become actively involved in the promotion of psychological-mindedness across both services, including helping to promote a trauma-informed approach. They will join the senior leadership team at Lambourn House, helping to shape the culture and ethos of the unit. We welcome a range of psychological models and reflective thinking and creative approaches are highly valued. There is an emphasis on close multi-disciplinary team working. Staff support and working with families/carers are an important part of the role.
There will also be opportunities to lead on service wide projects in order to contribute significantly to improving the quality of the psychological services that we provide. Our psychology department is proud of the diversity of therapeutic approaches utilised in our work, where supervision and continuing professional development is prioritised.
