An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative service as a Eating Disorder Team manager.
The post holder will work with a team of CAMHS clinicians and Consultant Psychiatrist as part of a Multi Disciplinary Team and be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values in their day to day work.The post-holders will be a post-graduate qualified psychological practitioners (e.g. psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist) or graduate qualified health care professional (e.g. nurse, social worker, occupational therapist), fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, NMC).
Main duties of the job
NELFT have been awarded the Contract to provide CAMHS services across Southend, Essex and Thurrock in partnership with HCRG for the next seven years. We will be delivering services within a THRIVE model which is a collaborative approach with young people , families and partner organisations. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative new ways of working.
This post would suit clinicians with experience working with young people who present with eating disorder, adapting support for young people with neurodevelopment issues and working with the wider systems including education, social care, Acute Hospital and family/carers.
This is an exciting time to join the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service as we have recently been commissioned to develop and offer an Intensive Support Programme for young people to prevent Tier 4 admissions. In addition, we also are proud to offer ARFID assessments and diagnostic pathway. We are currently meeting all waiting time standards and offer an excellent package of care.

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
