An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (SPWP) we are seeking a highly motivated Senior PWP (SPWP) to work in our busy Talking Therapies Team.
Band 6 - �35,392 - �42,618 per annum - 37.5 hours per week, full time.
The role of Senior PWP is now available within the service which requires a skilled and motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who can support/supervise the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner's (PWP) and work alongside the wider team across the locality.
You will be employed by Changes Wellbeing Service but work in a partnership arrangement with NSCHCT and MPFT.
Main duties of the job
Your role in the Stoke on Trent NHS Talking Therapies Service will be to manage, support and develop the delivery of low-intensity treatment across Stoke on Trent.
You will have experience of working in a NHS Talking Therapy Service, be registered with the BABCP and ideally have a supervisory qualification.

The Stoke-on-Trent NHS Talking Therapies Service is a high performing and innovative Primary Care Talking Therapy Service.
The service is in a partnership arrangement between North Staffordshire Combined Health Care (NSCHCT), Midland Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT), and the Third Sector.
This Primary Care service provides a range of NICE approved effective evidence based treatments for people who have common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression as well as for people who have mental health difficulties alongside their long term physical health condition.

The post-holders role in the Stoke on Trent NHS Talking Therapies Service is to manage, support and develop the delivery of low-intensity treatment across Stoke on Trent. The post-holder will
Hold a qualification (Post grad dip/cert) in Low intensity working
Offer evidence-based practice in Low-Intensity Treatments to clients, and will
Develop, support and train innovative practice to trainee IAPT psychological well-being practitioners, to other workers qualified to act in Low intensity worker roles and to Primary Care colleagues, such as health visitors, community matrons, etc., and to our colleagues in non-statutory organisations.
In addition, there is a significant case management, line management and clinical supervision component to the post and this is an opportunity for qualified and experienced IAPT psychological well-being practitioners who are enthusiastic and excited by the development of low intensity services to share their interest and passion, and to develop these qualities and skills in others.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings and psychological treatment centres.
The post holder will line manage trainee low intensity workers and IAPT Low intensity workers under the direction of the Clinical Lead.
