At NWAS we have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and engaging leader to manage our workforce engagement and wellbeing agendas. This role is integral to the delivery of a positive employee experience for our staff. The role of the Staff Engagement & Wellbeing Manager is to support delivery of the NWAS People Strategy by planning and coordinating a broad range of workforce engagement and wellbeing initiatives. You will provide leadership to the Workforce Wellbeing Team and manage the recently launched Wellbeing Hub - facilitating a single point of access to staff and managers for health and wellbeing information.
Main duties of the job
You will also project manage the annual and quarterly staff surveys and support the development of internal communications supporting a positive staff experience, and thriving organisational culture.
You will be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of staff at all levels of the Trust, as well as confidently work with external stakeholders including suppliers and partners. This role demands someone who is accustomed to working in a complex, fast-paced and ever-changing environment given the operational pressures in the ambulance service. You will be a highly effective communicator and be capable of managing a busy workload and responding to conflicting priorities as required.
This is an incredibly rewarding role supporting our workforce, and is therefore an opportunity for the postholder to show innovation and creativity their delivery.

While you will work across the Trust footprint, your base will be the Trust HQ in Bolton and this post does also benefit from Agile Working. Interviews to be held in early September.
