An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our 8 month rotation through Community Rehabilitation and Community Beds , offering a varied experience of community based rehabilitation within Northamptonshire.

More experienced Band 5s with an interest in developing their rehabilitation experience within a supportive environment are encouraged to apply. We are offering a Band 5/6 development post for these candidates over 18 months with an agreed competency framework

Main duties of the job

The post will offer 4 rotations -

The first at Corby Community Hospital which provide in-patient rehabilitation.

The 3 remaining rotations are through Community Beds at Isebrook Hospital, Wellingborough which offers one rehabilitation rotation and one dedicated stroke rehabilitation rotation and a Community Therapy Service rotation which provides community-based rehabilitation for adults with a variety of Long-Term Conditions including neurological conditions.

7 day working is in place on the Stroke Rehabilitation rotation.

All rotations offer a chance to work within an established Multi -Disciplinary team

Experience

Essential

• At least 2 years working within NHS at band 5 level or above
• Experience of working within Rehabilitation settings

Desirable

• Experience of supervising junior staff and students
• Experience of working within an MDT
• Experience of working with patients with long term conditions including neurological

Qualifications

Essential

• HCPC registered
• car driver with valid UK licence

Desirable

• CSP registration and /or other professional networks eg ACPIN,AGILE
• Evidence of post graduate training relevant to role
