We are looking for an enthusiastic senior nurse to join the Site Management Team. Advanced Site Practitioners (ASP) are responsible for effective bed management, ensuring that the flow of patients through the hospital is effective and efficient. ASP also work with the medical and nursing teams to provide senior nursing support to the ward areas, ensuring the safety of the hospital site out of hours. This includes the provision of general management support to the hospital departments and the provision of advanced clinical nursing skills on the medical, surgical and orthopaedic wards.
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Site Practitioner you will ensure the safe and timely admission, transfer and discharge of patients, and be the first point of escalation out of hours for a wide variety of incidents and emergencies.
A solid professional background, good decision-making skills and excellent communication skills will combine to enable you to master the day-to-day management of this busy role.
