We are an in-house NHS transformation service supporting London's NHS organisations and partners to deliver service improvement and transformation in line with the NHS long-term plan. We operate as a consultancy service, run by the NHS for the NHS (based at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust), providing high-quality bespoke project delivery and advisory services to a wide range of organisations across health and social care.
Our consultants bring their extensive public, private and third sector experience to bear on the NHS's most complex problems, as we advise, deliver and support bespoke portfolio, programme and project management solutions and end-to-end transformation services.
We are looking to recruit people who are creative, collaborative, resilient and motivated to make a difference to our customers and the wider health and social caresector. Experience of working in health or social care would be an advantage but we also welcome people with transferable skills and experience.

The pandemic accelerated the digitisation of health and the need to use data and analytics to support the health and care system. There is an increasing demand for our services to support the system in digital and data programmes, from deployment of online consultations in primary care and remote monitoring solutions in healthcare apps to integration work between systems and across patient pathways. We also specialise in analytics projects, building dashboards and developing analytical solutions that support strategic health system planning and population health management.

Main duties of the job
We are specifically looking for digital and analytical consultants who can support our team with expertise and skills in the following areas:
- Data Analysts and Scientists: metric development, data collection, data manipulation, analysis, modelling and insight generation to support programmes (e.g. experience using Advanced Excel, SQL, R or Python).
- Data Engineers and Developers: develop clear and concise data visualisations in specialist software to produce insightful dashboards (e.g. using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Foundry).
- Business Analysts and Researchers: engaging stakeholders across health and care and translating their needs into a workplan for development (e.g. creating wireframes, technical specifications, research plans and briefs).
- Digital SMEs: digital strategy development and delivery, digital transformation, digital enablement and systems roll-out, digital product development (e.g. IT Project Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, UX Researcher, UX/UI designer, Digital Producer, Full Stack Developer etc.)
- AI and Machine Learning SMEs - defining AI strategic roadmaps, implementing safe AI practice, implementing AI solutions including architecture design and model development, developing Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g. AI and ML Engineer, AI Strategy Consultant, Generative AI Developer)
