Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your acute clinical skills further within a wide range of clinical areas?

We are looking for a dynamic SLT, passionate about delivering high value, integrated, patientcentered care to join our Acute team.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our innovative Acute Adult Speech and Language Therapy team across two hospital sites:University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital of Llandough. This rotational post will allow you to develop skills and knowledge in the following areas: Acute Medicine, Neuroscience which covers Major Trauma, Neuro Oncology, Neurosurgery and Acute Stroke. This post will also support weekend working on the Acute Stroke ward.

You will receive excellent leadership and supervision support within this role from the acute Speech Therapy team to ensure that we offer opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Whilst the role requires post graduate dysphagia qualification, our team is able to support an experienced B5 or B6 in obtaining these skills. We would therefore consider a B5 / B6 developmental post and so welcome applications from Band 5 SLTs who are working towards completion of their NQPs and dysphagia competencies. If you are interested in this role we would be keen to hear from you and happy to discuss any questions you may have about this post.
