This role will allow the post holder the opportunity to work in the School of Nursing, AHP and Midwifery at one of the biggest NHS trusts in the UK. The School offers education and support to all of our non medical workforce, pre-registration professionals, and for Clinical Skills, SIM and Resuscitation our medical colleagues which equates to thousands of health care workers. The School itself employs four hundred plus individuals, ranging from administrative staff, educators, resuscitation officers, nurses, researchers and academics!
The role is focused on the quality of the education delivered by the School, and the processes relating to those that access the School in all its guises. This relates to our internally employed staff but also our students. The School ethos is Belong, Grow and Contribute and hence all learners are our priority.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have responsibility within the School for the collation and analysis of intelligence related to overseeing quality assurance functions such as accreditation, course approval, and quality enhancement across the School against education and training pathways in line with national standards and priorities set by NHS England and NHS Improvement,, Integrated Care System (ICS) Health Education England (HEE) and individual professional regulatory such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Heath and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and other regulatory, audit and inspection bodies.
Ensure processes include a rigorous cycle of feedback from students and staff to constantly improve the learner experience within the School. Work collaboratively with the Corporate Education Quality Team to enhance an evaluation framework. The continuous improvement of the learner experience is central to the development of the School education portfolio to ensure delivery of sector-leading, integrated and coherent education which is responsive, learner focused and supports the School community in a creative, enabling way. This involves liaison and coordination with multiple stake-holders, informing an evaluation of the school education portfolio that is shared and communicated to the School via regular reports.

- Experience of commissioning education programmes.
- Detailed understanding of the education quality agenda including its scope, structure, methods of operation, processes and inter-relationships.
