An exciting opportunity has become available to join the GMMH Homeless Hub as a Team Manager for the Salford Dual Diagnosis Homeless Team as a secondment until 31/03/25.
The team consists of four dual diagnosis practitioners that you would be providing line management for. The service also has access to Psychiatry, Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy.
SDDHT is an assessment service that works to an assertive outreach model to offer engagement, assessment and onward referrals for homeless people who experience barriers in accessing universal mainstream services.
SDDHT works extremely closely with it's partners at Salford Local Authority Rough Sleeper Initiative Housing team, and the GMMH Rough Sleeper Drug & Alcohol service.
The team adopts a flexible working approach to their place based working we are able to facilitate a combination of office and home working.
Candidates must have approval from their line manager before applying for this post.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, leadership and development of the city-wide Homeless Dual Diagnosis Team which is an integrated, flexible, user-focused and recovery-orientated service.
To deliver a safe, effective, and high-quality service to a small caseload of service users to ensure delivery to the relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the Homeless Dual Diagnosis Team operational procedure and wider system pathways.
Participation as a member of the Homeless Services Management Team in the overall management of community based homeless mental health/dual diagnosis services.
