We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team at the Leicester Excellence Accreditation Framework within the NHS. As a Data Analyst, your role will be vital in the development of various data collection and analysis tools, with a focus on meeting the specific needs of our service.

Main duties of the job

This presents a great opportunity for a seasoned Data Analyst to join the Leicester Excellence Accreditation Framework team and help fulfil the key business needs of the Trust, focusing on patient safety, patient experience, and staff experience. The role will involve delivering crucial information to clinical areas through monthly ward data packs that outline performance against established indicators.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with generating various reports and submissions to track and report on performance against set targets, as well as handling ad-hoc requests promptly. A strong background in specialised information provision and analysis is essential, along with exceptional analytical skills and experience in interpreting complex data at an advanced level. Ideally, you should also possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to enhance reporting and analysis processes.

Offering guidance and support to staff members of all levels will necessitate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, being a collaborative team player who can effectively manage their workload and take initiative to contribute to ongoing service enhancements is crucial.

About us

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:
  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact, and
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:
  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive, and
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
