An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Medicine Division as Speciality Service Managers. The services that these posts will be working in will be:
The post holders will support the management of day-to-day operational issues in the service they are allocated to and will have responsibility for providing management and leadership to the operational and administrative and clerical teams.
The post holders will enable the successful delivery of high quality services for children, young people and their families and will ensure that systems and process that enable the team to function effectively are successfully embedded within their service area.
Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organised, innovative with the ability to work well autonomously as well as part of a team and will be committed to improving services for children, young people and their families.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for specific functions within the service as agreed withthe clinical heads of serviceTo be a key member of the Divisional Management Team.To inform the Estates strategy, development and implementation withinthe servicesEnsure systems are in place to communicate with staff directly line managed, to ensure that all staff are up to date with all service, divisionand Trust wide issues.Contribute to setting the strategic direction for the services
Responsible for delivery of strategic objectives in the service aligned withdivisional and Trust strategic direction.Contribute to service business planning process including servicedevelopment plans

The post holders will work alongside and in support of the Triumvirate Team in providing day to day operational management support to within their dedicate medical speciality areas.
The post holders will support the Divisional Leadership team by providing day to day operational management support, enabling the successful delivery of high quality services for children, young people and their families.
The post holders will work closely as part of the service leadership team, to ensure a unified operational approach, ensuring that systems and processes that enable the team to function effectively are successfully embedded within the team.
