We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse Non-Medical Prescriber role to be undertaken remotely using virtual technology.

The role would provide specialist assessments and interventions to children and young people accessing CAMHS, using a variety of technology. This is to include pharmacological interventions as a non-medical prescriber. You will participate in the review of clinical policies and guidelines relevant to the area and support and implement changes to practice; liaise with other organisations and professionals to promote communication and good practice; be able to undertake audit activity and supervision to other staff in service area/care group.

The successful applicant will have an understanding of psychosocial interventions to include psycho-education, wellness recovery action plans, Delivering with Delivering Well and discharge planning.

You will work with the CAMHS team as well as our integrated functions within the local authority to embed a robust and continually improving approach to children and young people presenting in mental health crisis and requiring a higher intensity care package.

The post holder will be expected to take online management and clinical supervision responsibilities alongside some key service functions such as initial assessments.
