We are increasing our well-established services provided to local people and as a result we have been expanding our team of qualified therapists and support staff.
We are an integrated, hard-working but highly rewarding multi-disciplinary team, who aim to make a real difference to people's lives. We are looking for an experienced, flexible and enthusiastic Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who would relish the opportunity to join our well established inter-disciplinary team. You will have a desire to develop your skills in promoting health, well-being and independence across our community rehabilitation services.
You will need to be a car driver as independent means of travel is essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
In the community Rehabilitation Team you will work alongside other experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Social Workers, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists and Reablement Support staff to deliver rehabilitation in a variety of settings including:
We can offer a robust induction programme, career development and regular clinical supervision to support your professional development.
You will be integral to shaping our services, implementing innovative practice, and educating our students, AHP apprentices, and assistants.
There will be the opportunity to move between these different services developing your skills.
You will need to be a car driver - independent means of travel is essential for this role.

- Recognised Diploma / degree Occupational Therapy
- Registered with the Health Professions Council
- Evidence of postgraduate learning relevant to clinical area - e.g. Neurology, Falls, Elderly rehabilitation, use of equipment.
Desirable
- Computer skills qualification
- Evidence of Basic management training
- Post graduate training e.g. Normal movement training, advanced cognitive/perceptual training
Knowledge
Essential
- Understanding of clinical governance e.g. audit, risk management, education
- Use of goal setting and outcome measures
- Up to date evidence based clinical knowledge
- Ability to manage resources
Desirable
- Acute assessment skills e.g. A and E experience
