United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust
Based at Grantham Hospital and Grantham CDC 1.
BAND 6 MRI Radiographer FULL TIME - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the country, providing acute services across the county of Lincolnshire.
We are seeking a dynamic MRI radiographer to join the dedicated team in the MRI department at Grantham & District Hospital and the nearby Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC1) on Gonerby Road, Grantham. This is a rotational post between the two sites. Grantham & District MRI performs over 1800 cardiac MRI studies every year, so cardiac MRI experience is preferred but not essential.
We house a Phillips Ambition 1.5T and a Siemens Sola 1.5T so training on both systems will be available.
The MRI service is open from 07:20 to 20:30 hrs daily, 7 days a week.
This is a small, friendly, busy but dedicated team, and they need someone who is a team player, and able to take the department forward as the Trust develops its MRI scanning services. A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a State Registered Radiographer with MR experience, or a band 5 radiographer with a special interest, who will remain at band 5 until preceptorship is complete.
For more information, please contact Christine Shaw, Superintendent MRI radiographer on 01476 464886 or email Christine.shaw@ulh.nhs.uk
