An exciting opportunity has arrived for a permanent post on ward 6B as a Band 6 deputy Sister. Ward 6B is at present an elderly care ward that prides itself in giving individualised care to their patients
The successful applicant will become part of a well-established complex needs team, concentrating on providing high quality dignified care to the older person.
The ward is very focused on MDT working with a board round in a morning and update in the afternoon, patients discharge needs are identified early in their journey to ensure that none of the patients on the ward become deconditioned by being in hospital.
Main duties of the job
The role will also include supporting the Ward Sister and the team in ensuring that all the nursing standards are kept and that all parts of the managerial agenda are met and managed.
You will be joining a hard working, caring team and will have full support from the team in ensuring that we are providing the best possible care to all patients.

- Registered Nurse Level 1
- Teaching certificate - ENB 998 or equivalent

- Evidence of former professional development.
Experience

- Broad based clinical background and strong professional knowledge.
- Evidence of teaching in clinical practice
- Previous experience in nursing patients
- Team leader or people management experience.
