The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Estates & Facilities Compliance Manager and operational staff and support the implementation of Estates service strategy and plans. The Estates Compliance Co-Ordinator conducts audits and provides guidance to staff members to assist with the adherence to ethical and legal standards.
The Compliance Co-Ordinator will work closely with various departments within the Trust and service as a point of contact for external regulatory bodies and provide reports to senior management.
Main duties of the job
Providing proactive support to the Compliance Manager.
Support the Compliance Manager with the issuing of accurate and timely Trust and NHS returns.
Monitoring, reporting and supporting Estates & Facilities to remain compliant with statutory, NHS and good industry practice and guidelines.
Maintain records, support audits on Estates & Facilities such as Care Quality Commission (CQC), NHS Premises Assurance Model (PAM), Patient-Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE) and compliance with HTM_00, Quality Management Systems (QMS) ISO 9001, etc.
Serve as a point of contact for external bodies, responding to inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
Maintain integrated and robust information management systems and records.
Contribute to Estates & Facilities compliance and performance reviews at other Trusts.
