Are you an experienced dietician looking for a new challenge? Do you thing you would thrive working with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team? Austen House is a specialist Low Secure CAMHS unit on the edge of the New Forest close to Southampton. With only a handful of similar units in the country our aim is provide specialist care for young people with complex mental health needs in the South of England.Austen House is an inpatient unit commissioned to care for up to 14 young people. We are looking for a dietician who can work with the MDT to support, educate and provide specialist knowledge to the young people and our staff.
Main duties of the job
Provide specialist knowledge to our young people, their families and staff. Provide education sessions to staff. Complete meal plans. Involvement in menus. Strong leadership skills. Good communication skills. Able to work autonomously. Give guidance and support to a multi-disciplinary team.
