We are seeking a motivated, forward thinking and experienced neurological physiotherapist.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 physiotherapist to join our dynamic physiotherapy team at Wexham Park hospital within the neurology rotations. The role will provide a chance to enhance your clinical and managerial skills within the inpatient and outpatient setting, rotating between
  • Stroke Rehab
  • Neurology Outliers
  • Neurology Outpatients/ Hydro

We are dedicated in providing a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment with access to funding for external courses and the support from a dedicated Therapies Practice Development Lead. Within this role you will have the opportunity to supervise students and junior staff, take part in our comprehensive in-service training program and spend time observing the Botox and Splinting clinics.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate our trust values and will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management for patients with a range of neurological condition including complex presentations. There is an expectation that a successful candidate will be actively involved in service development and keep up to date with new research and guidelines.

In this post you will gain valuable experience of working with patients with neurological conditions in a rewarding environment with a clear supervision structure.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in assessing and treating patients who may have a complex presentation
  • To supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists/technicians/assistants and students and be involved in teaching MDT staff
  • To participate in CPD and other departmental activities
  • To participate in the weekend and on call service

  • Physio Degree or equivalent
