Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for 18 residents across three services:
Cygnet Birches, Eton Avenue, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 4JD.
Elston House, Top Street, Elston, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5NP.
No.12, 12, High Street, Brant Broughton, Lincolnshire, LN5 0SL.

Overview of sites:
Cygnet Birches, Elston house and No.12 provide specialist residential services for adults with Autism, learning disabilities and who may present with behaviours that challenge.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, treatment and management of residents within the service.
In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to individuals diagnosis and identified needs. This will be based upon findings from assessments and associated risks in order to develop treatment plans & care and support plans.

- A registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
