We have a fabulous opportunity for a senior family therapist to join our dedicated family and systemic therapy team situated in a CAMHS service in Derby city and County but with flexibility to also work in the adult service.
This post will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to clinically lead and shape the service which consists of an increasing range of family therapists and practitioners.
They will also have the opportunity to work with a range of families offering direct clinical work.
The successful candidate will be supported by the wider district psychological therapies division including being part of a wider family therapy service that the post is situated in providing opportunities for development and joint working.

Provide Systemic clinical leadership for the CAMHS Pathway Teams, in partnership with the team clinical leads and operational managers.
This will include the development of the systemic model within initial assessment of referrals, regular reviews, care planning and integrating a family based intervention model across the pathways through creating a systemic family-based model culture.

Main duties of the job
- Ensure appropriate highly specialist evidence based clinical risk assessments and safety plans are undertaken and ensure an effective system for the co-ordination of care is implemented (e.g. Safeguarding).
- Be responsible for ensuring that systemic input is provided within Choice and Partnership (CAPA), CYP IAPT and Care Programme and that opportunity is fully provided to support service user/carer involvement in outcome measurement, participation, feedback and decision-making processes.
- Ensure evidence based practice and research awareness is used as the foundation for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of mental health care.
- Ensure Safeguarding Children / Vulnerable Adults Procedures are followed

- Core profession, eg Nursing, Social Work Psychology, Occupational Health or extensive experience as a Family Therapist including an acute and broader mental health care setting
- Family therapy qualification
- UKCP registered Systemic Psychotherapist (masters level)
