Homerton Healthcare are offering this great opportunity to join our team as the Head of Quality and Compliance. If you are committed to quality and want to have input into our preparations for CQC visits, then this is the job for you. Homerton Healthcare CQC rating is outstanding and it is our intention to maintain that rating and as such we have been learning about the new quality standards and how the new single assessment framework is applied.
As Homerton Healthcare is an integrated care organisation and provides acute services as well as community services across the boroughs of City and Hackney, we provide care across the continuum of the pathway and recognise the importance of this for patients.
The successful candidate will work closely with each of our divisions to ensure pathways as well as services are assessed and as prepared as they can be. The successful candidate will help the divisional triumvurate understand the new quality statements and how they apply to their services and work with them to ensure we can demonstrate and evidence the incredible work we do and care we provide.

Main duties of the job
- To lead the review of the compliance assurance framework ensuring robust systems for ensuring compliance with the standards required.
- To establish and maintain central systems and databases that support the implementation of the systems to ensure evidence is collated for CQC registration
- Develop and implement an internal programme of compliance monitoring.
- To assist in the co-ordination of planned and unannounced inspections form CQC and take the lead for the communication plan and coordinating the collation and submission of evidence within the given timeframes.
- Support the ongoing collation and preparation of evidence for internal/external review as well as following up action leads (where necessary) in respect of Care Quality Commission and other regulatory bodies as required
