Staff Nurse Neuro Rehabilitation

Marie Therese Neurological Rehabilitation Unit currently has an opportunity to recruit a staff nurse to join our friendly and professional team .
We are seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our neuro rehabilitation unit based an St Michael's Hospital in Hayle.
The unit has 12 dedicated rehabilitation bed for patients following neuro surgery, head injury, for those who have neurological conditions such as Gillian Barre Syndrome and long term conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with passion for delivering high standards if care whist working with compassion and kindness for our patient and each other.
We work together as a multidisciplinary team and strive towards our shared vision to help our patients recover with maximum independence.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and specialist skills in neurological rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for under taking and recording a comprehensive nursing assessment, including planning, delivering and evaluating high standards of evidence based care to a divers group of patients.
Is expected to deliver care without direct supervision. Is accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
Is expected to teach and supervise junior staff, students and non registered work force.
Is accountable for care or any omission of care they delegate to others.
Is expected to act as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of the MDT
