Our innovative Community Rehabilitation Enhanced Support Team (CREST) are recruiting a permanent full time Band 5 OT to their growing team.
Proud winners of the Clinical Team of the Year award, we work within the community, offering mental health rehabilitation for adults with psychosis.
CREST is made up of a diverse group of multi-disciplinary professionals. You'll have autonomy to lead on rehabilitation plans within our shared MDT caseload, allowing you to deliver great care that values your professional skillset.
Within our supportive team you'll enjoy a nurturing environment that encourages your professional growth. CREST is an exciting initiative for Berkshire. The team are forward-thinking, feedback is valued, and you will be a crucial part of service development.
You'll have opportunity to work from home or various office locations around the county. Clinical work in CREST is based in clients homes and local communities across the whole of Berkshire, so you must be a driver.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00.

Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC. Have knowledge of and passion for working with patients with complex mental health needs. Hold a current clear UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Main duties of the job
- Supporting patients through a strengths based, client-centred approach to care. Each patient will have a bespoke care plan agreed at MDT, which you will help put into action.
- Supporting patients with developing their skills and relationships to enable them to live healthy, fulfilling lives. Examples of activities that might be undertaken could include home visits, social visits, or helping patients to engage in community activities including sports and social events.
- The team will be OT-led and staffed primarily by Occupational Therapists so the role may include providing supervision to more junior members of the team.
