We are looking to recruit an Staff Nurse to join our Reading Health Visiting Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an established team of Health Visitors, Staff nurses and Nursery nurses to support in the delivery of services to support children aged 0 to 5 years, and their families. You will also work alongside a range of multi-agency professionals. Core service hours are 9am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Main duties of the job

  • The successful candidates will work within a multi-disciplinary team across the richly diverse area of Reading, supporting the Health Visiting Teams to deliver core and targeted services to the children aged 0-5 and their families.
  • The successful candidate will be part of the team implementing the Healthy Child Programme, underpinned by the Solihull Approach model of working.
  • In delivering the service requirements, the successful candidate will be working in a variety of community settings across Reading including in the homes of families.
  • The post holder will be supported by qualified Health Visitors and given a bespoke package of training and support.
  • Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and a commitment to team working, flexibility and working with partners.
