This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Physiological Measurements Team, providing a comprehensive range of investigations throughout North Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs). Routine clinical work of the department includes provision of Respiratory Function investigations at both Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Scunthorpe CDC, Urodynamic investigations, Bone Densitometry and Vascular Diagnostics.
The post holder will rotate between the acute hospital sites and the newly built Scunthorpe CDC performing a range of Respiratory Function Investigations.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake and perform diagnostic examinations requested to a high level of skill and provide specialist knowledge covering a range of procedures and practice underpinned by the relevant knowledge and practical experience.Diagnostics provide a 7-day service to its stakeholders, and it is a requirement that the post holder be flexible with working hours and take part in any future shift systems that may be required.
The post holder will hold or be working towards State Registration under the current voluntary registration with The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) or The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
