Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) invites applications for a fulltime Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS, providing a comprehensive service to Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding South Warwickshire area.

This is a replacement post supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team comprising of Psychiatry, Nursing, Psychology, Family Therapy and Psychotherapy and Art Therapy.

In South Warwickshire CAMHS services are provided by one department operating from two bases to cover two localities and is based on a single point of entry system. The service is out-patient and community based, but there is access to the Regional Child and Adolescent Inpatient Units (Tier 4). The post-holder will be expected to liaise appropriately with Tier 4 colleagues to facilitate planning of acute care, admission and early discharge.
The post is based on a 10 PA job plan (7.5 PAs in Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 PAs in Supporting Professional Activities) with an out-of-hours on-call frequency of less than 1 in 10.
The service received an overall rating of Good by the CQC and an Outstanding for care and compassion of which we are rightly proud. We have also been recognised both locally and nationally by receiving awards for the services we provide.

UK applicants must possess the appropriate qualifications (MRCPsych; CCT or equivalent), be on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry, have full registration and licence to practice with the GMC. Applicants must also be approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act and be eligible to be an Approved Clinician.

- Post Graduate Qualification in Psychiatry (e.g. MRCPsych, FCPS, MCPS, MD in Psychiatry)
- 3 years post graduate experience working in psychiatry
- Candidate has been engaged in medical practice for three out of the last five years including all of the 12 most recent months at the point the application is made
