We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Nurse leader with a keen interest Endoscopy. The expectation is to lead on the opening of our purpose-built Endoscopy department due to open early 2024. With or Endoscopy expansion programme we have extended our Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Hospitals programme to a new 3 roomed building based in Tiverton.

New service, New Building, New Team New leader wanted!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring nurse leader with a keen interest Endoscopy. The expectation is to lead on the opening of our purpose-built endoscopy department due to open early 2024. With or endoscopy expansion programme we have extended our Royal Devon University Hospitals programme to a new 3 roomed building based in Tiverton.

The successful candidate will need to unite and build a new team to manage the day to day challenges an endoscopy department. This will involve enabling the team pre-opening to be ready for the first patients.

They will also be required to work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager employed at our Wonford Endoscopy unit. This will involve looking at bookings, staffing cover, training amongst other things. This role requires a commitment to shared working and collaboration.

The candidate will be required to start before the opening to help plan and prepare for a safe and organised start. A passion for endoscopy and leadership are essential along with a commitment to improve the service and collaborate with our eastern and norther partners.

This role is based in Tiverton with the expectation of some working days at our Wonford site.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
