This is an exciting opportunity that has arisen from investment to work as part of the Live Well Service in order to align our out-patient SLT services with the multi award winning CAVUHB Therapies Rehabilitation model.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and self-driven with the passion to create new clinical pathways in order to provide person centred and value- based healthcare.They will be an innovative thinker, able to lead on new projects, work autonomously and as part of a team and be able to demonstrate skill for collecting and analysing data.
The successful candidate will also have consolidated clinical knowledge in Voice disorders, Respiratory disorders (such as COPD and chronic cough), Stammering, Stroke and FND. In return, we offer integrated working with our therapy colleagues, strong clinical & professional support and opportunities for service users collaboration and co-production.
The role will be supported by our strong management and leadership team from within SLT and from within the wider therapies' directorate and therefore could support an experienced Band 6 looking to move to a more senior clinical and leadership role.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for aligning the SLT Out-patient service with the Therapies 'Live Well Service' which has been established to meet the needs of people with long term healthcare needs. The role will therefore incorporate specific clinical input for this cohort, and include individual work, group work, and consultation with others.
The post holder will be required to work effectively in collaboration with the full multidisciplinary team, and the voluntary sector where required, to promote the development, planning and delivery of intervention programmes and training in the specialist clinical area.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- HCPC Registration
- MSc or equivalent. This should include a post-graduate dysphagia qualification to at least RCSLT level C.
- Evidence of specialist post graduate CPD/training relevant to the post.
