Organisational Development Practitioner Band 8a
The Organisational Development Practitioner will join our small and impactful Group OD Team which sits as part of the larger Group People Services Team, supporting our 4 hospital sites.
The OD team supports ourteam leadersto deliver our group operating plan and longer-term strategy through developing bespoke programmes of work to support team change including workshops coaching, content generation and psychometrics.
We are also part of ourGroup WE LEAD faculty supporting larger group-wide events such as our senior leadership conference and webinars team leadership webinars and the development of a programme to support our middle management team leaders.
Main duties of the job
You will possess the knowledge and skills to developbespoke leadership and change content- built on your experiences of varied client work - that delivered enhanced team performance through designs aimed at supporting leaders to lead in uncertain times.Sitting alongside side this you will also bring experience of leadership programme content curriculum development delivery and evaluation.
You will be experienced in using a variety of triage, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and psychometric skills combined with leadership models, exercises, and programmes, to design and deliver planned and unplanned OD interventions.Confident in influencing service leaders and in steering committee settings you will have a strong evidence-based practice in complex organisational change.
To sum up, we are looking for a team player and an OD Practitioner who is experienced in culture change with an emphasis on helping leaders to lead change in their teams

Your weeks will be varied in terms of the scope of client OD work involved from undertaking your own interventions to supporting large established offerings.You would be based in Canary Wharf one day a week, and the rest of the week we split our time working at one of our 4 hospital sites and working from home.

- 1.Experience as an external or internal OD consultant working with service leaders to successfully run interventions focused on behaviour change and leadership from inquiry through design to evaluation that support business goals. (triaging, designing and leading OD)
- 2.Expertise and credibility in working alongside other senior change partners, e.g. QI, service transformation, Wellbeing and Inclusion and Education Academy.
- 3.OD behaviour and leadership experience in complex multi-site and multi-professional and culturally diverse organisations
- 4.Some experiences of cycles of designing and implementing OD interventions applying both diagnostic and dialogic approach (Appreciative Inquiry open space, world caf etc.)
- 5.Knowledge, and evidence based expertise and an understanding of the NHS leadership challenges facing organisations undergoing transformational change to bring credible expertise to the client work.
