Join us on the North Yorkshire Coast!
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 NMC Registered Midwives to join our midwifery teams
The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Trust provides care over a large geographical area. The Scarborough 'footprint' extends north as far as Whitby, a heritage rich coastal town, inland towards Malton, foodie capital of Yorkshire surrounded by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and as far south as Bridlington and the boarders of the East Riding. The region offers Howardian Hills, North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Yorkshire Wolds plus about 100 miles of coastline!
Full-time and Part-time hours are considered.
You will need Nursing and Midwifery Council Registered Midwife status.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will work autonomously within locally agreed policies and guidelines, taking account of the NMC code in relation to practice.As a Band 6 Midwife in a multi-site Teaching Hospital Trust, you will actively support students, preceptorship midwives, maternity support workers and our international recruits. You may be eligible for financial assistance with relocation costs.
