Staff Nurse - Rheumatology
This is an exciting opportunity to work part time in an outpatients setting of Rheumatology clinic, Monday - Friday, no weekends or bank holidays.
Our patients are at the heart of what we do, you will be instrumental in gaining their feedback and using this to shape the service, along with regular audits. You will be part of a dedicated team to ensure that our patients have the best possible experience and that their care is in line with our Rheumatology/Osteoporosis Delivery plans.

This post is fixed term for 9 months to meet the service needs
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a suitably experienced registered nurse, Band 5, for the Rheumatology/Osteoporosis service within Cwm Taf University Health Board.
The successful candidatewill work as a member of the Rheumatology/Osteoporosis team providing efficient and effective, communication, administration/clerical and clinical support for the both services. This includes cover to support the Dexa scan service, clinics, blood monitoring programme and general clinic duties.
They will be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care plans for dmards, biologics and advanced therapies.
The post holder will carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified/unqualified staff.
They will develop professional/working relationships with colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. To provide and receive routine information which requires tact or persuasive skills and develop a rapport with patients, relatives and carers.
The post holder will be required to work using own initiative, and to demonstrate an understanding of the Health Board's Values, adopting the key principles in providing a quality service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
