A unique opportunity has arisen for someone with a passion to improve patient and carer experience and really make an impact. Working closely with the Head of Patient Safety, Experience and Risk this post is pivotal to ensuring we are truly listening to/using all forms of feedback and working with patients, carers and colleagues to improve experiences of care at SASH.
You will bring outstanding people leadership to turn strategy into practical reality, you will be an experienced senior manager with curious, compassionate and inclusive style. We are looking for a leader to support continuous improvement of patient and carer experience, the role is multi-faceted the work varied and fast paced. You will work with the wider organisational teams, including operational front line staff to ensure systems and processes are in place to enhance the development and co-ordination of patient and public engagement activities and services across the Trust in order to influence the development and delivery of services.
The role will suit someone with the drive and enthusiasm to really make a difference to patients by improving services. Your experience, skills, values and behaviours will be essential attributes, as you join our forward-thinking corporate nursing team.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
