Band 6 Line Specialist Nurse - Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Managed Clinical Services (RMCH/MCS)
Are you passionate about developing your clinical skills and supporting education and development of staff?
This is an exciting opportunity for a paediatric registered nurse to apply for a 9 month full time secondment as a Band 6 Paediatric Line Specialist Nurse in RMCH/MCS.
Main duties of the job
You should be an experienced Paediatric healthcare professional with a previous experience as a registered nurse, be an assessor and be competent in IV Therapy as well as delivery of education and training. Experience of venepuncture and cannulation would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate,The post holder will work within the Magic line Service to ensure that high quality standards of patient care are maintained. You will be team orientated but posses the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.You will be committed to improving quality of care and the patient experience. The role is challenging and interesting with the opportunity to expand and develop your own knowledge and skills.
