An opportunity has arisen at Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service to join our friendly team at our Hathersage Centre hub. The post holder will work as part of our Young Person Contraception Sexual Health and HIV Service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical contraception and sexual health care in an outreach capacity with an emphasis on hard to reach young people under 25, particularly those under the age of 19.
The focus will be those not in mainstream education, Our Children, those in supported accommodation, teenage parents etc.
To provide clinical leadership and support to the educational outreachcolleague within the service but not limited to one site. Working closely with all members of the clinical outreach team, senior nurses/matron/ to provide professional support, as necessary.
To contribute to local and national contraception and sexual health targets.This is an outreach, mobile service therefore you will require access to avehicle.The post holder will be responsible for providing a high standard of sexual reproductive healthcare to all our patients. The post holder will be expectedto work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering non-judgmental care.
