United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) is actively seeking to recruit Registered Nurses to join their bank team with shifts across all areas, including Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, A& E, Theatres, Elderly Care, Critical Care, Emergency Admissions and Paediatrics. Vacancies are available on all our sites: Lincoln County Hospital, Boston Pilgrim Hospital, Grantham District Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of nursing care that meets the individual needs of our patients and those of the Trust.
The postholder will demonstrate clinical expertise in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care that puts patients at the centre of this approach.
The postholder will be expected to have the required management and facilitation skills that allows them to supervise the activity of other staff in the clinical setting, promote multi-disciplinary working and facilitate a supportive and learning environment.
The postholder may, on occasions, be required to assume responsibility for the ward / department in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
As a Registered Nurse the post holder is expected to consistently act in accordance with the NMC Code.
