An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our SEQOHS accredited service based at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to cover maternity leave..
The role will require you to promote positive Mental Health in the workplace and to advise Managers on Mental Ill-Health issues e.g. recognising anxiety, stress depression.
You will undertake work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals key mental and occupational health and wellbeing objectives are achieved.
Main duties of the job
The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service is responsible for assisting managers in delivering the Trust Objectives in particular:
To deliver specialist OH advice within the Trust and to external client groups as per agreed contracts and Service Level Agreements.
To promote Occupational Health and Wellbeing within the Trust and maintain an understanding and good working relationships with all client groups in relation to this post.
To respond to the professional developments in Occupational, Mental Health and Wellbeing Practice, and Health and Safety Legislation in relation to this post.
To be aware of new initiatives and develop policies to ensure that legal requirements are communicated effectively to clients to minimise health and safety risks.
