To support the Senior staff with the running of the medical ward on a shift by shift basis.
To be responsible for the assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of care.
To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
To develop an understanding of the requirements of the National Service Framework.
Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within Unscheduled Careon ward 4/3 Nevill Hall Hospital. We specialise in Gastroenterology and Care of the Elderly.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent, quality care to our patients. We are a welcoming, supportive and friendly group of professionals who strive to provide a friendly caring environment for both patients and staff.
We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need to have a flexible approach to take part in a full shift system including nights and weekend working, in some areas on a 12 hour shift system or on a three shift system.
We are committed to exploring innovative ways of working to enhance patient experience. We know that our success depends on the commitment and dedication of our staff and we aim to recruit and retain the best staff possible.
We aim for Ward 4/3 to be an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work. We know that feeling valued at work has a positive impact on both staff and patients and our Values and Behaviours Framework highlights our commitment to this.
