Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist
To work within the Urology Multidisciplinary Team to deliver high quality person centred care to patients with benign and malignant urological conditions. Providing support to patients and families undergoing cancer diagnosis.
It is not essential that you have the below two courses to apply for this role.

Main duties of the job
- Running independent clinics within the Urological Diagnostic and Treatment Centre including surveillance clinics, male and female lower urinary tract symptoms, erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hypertrophy and urology one stop clinic.
- Male and Female catheterisation
- Being part of intra-vesical cytotoxic clinics
- To assist in diagnostic procedures where necessary such as flexible Cystoscopy, Local Anaesthetic Trans-Perineal Prostate Biopsies, Lithotripsy, Urodynamic Studies, Flow and Scan Tests, TWOC clinic
- To complete staff appraisals in line with the trust policy.
To attend regular MDT meetings.
